The Yokosuka Research Park (YRP),
located on the hills of Yokosuka in the midst of the lush greenery
of Miura Peninsula, opened in October 1996 as a center for research
and development specializing in information communication
technology. It is a facility without parallel anywhere in the
country. Plans are proceeding at the YRP for the implementation of
joint research, research exchanges and other activities through the
combined efforts of corporate, academic and government research
institutes both at home and abroad Also included are plans for
research and development into fundamental and advanced technology in
information communication.
-->From Narita Airport Station or
Airport Terminal 2 Station, take Airport Express train on Keikyu
Line. After about a 60-minute ride, get off at Aoto Station and
transfer to Keikyu Express ("kaitoku") bound for Misaki-guchi
Station. After about a 90-minute ride, get off at YRP Nobi Station.
-->If you wish to go to Yokosuka Prince Hotel directly,
follow the directions above to Kanazawa-bunko Station. Then change
to Keikyu Local ("futsu") train and get off at the 6th stop,
Shioiri Station.
-->Take a taxi from the station to
YRP Ichibankan.
-->Take bus No.1 from the station to bus
stop "Hikarino-oka 5 ban" (the 3rd stop from the
station).
Yokosuka Prince Hotel: Rooms have been
reserved at Yokosuka Prince Hotel for TSMMW2004/MINT-MIS2004
participants. Charge for a single room is 11,025 yen per night,
including breakfast, service charge and VAT. To reserve a room as a
participant, or to obtain further information, please contact the
hotel directly. Please remember to quote "TSMMW2004/MINT-MIS2004"
when making reservations (all rooms have been reserved under this
name).
